"Duplicate" error message when registering a port or winback.
- The new connection number has already been registered. Check Telesearch.
- The SIM number or IMEI has already been registered
Common causes:
- The number has been registered as a Winback, then someone later registers it as a Port, but then sets “Is this a Postpaid Winback Claim?” to “Yes”. The site then tries to create another claim, but is prevented as the number already exists. Leave the flag to “NO”, and look on Telesearch to find the winback claim details.
- The number has previously been in-ported, then has been ported away, and is now coming back again. E-mail winback@upside.co.nz to have the previous in-port number recycled.
